Amaia Photo Props is a small European brand creating newborn photography props for professional photographers — from soft backdrops and knitted outfits to cheesecloth wraps and styling accessories.

We are best known for pieces that feel beautiful on their own, but also make styling easier when you want a more connected look.

Most Amaia backdrops can be used alone or built around with matching pieces made from the same fabric — including wraps, rompers, bonnets, headbands and pillows — so you can create a cohesive styling direction without guessing colour or texture.

Not every photographer wants a full set. And not every session needs one. That is why Amaia is designed to give you flexibility.

You can choose one piece your studio needs most — a backdrop, knitted outfit, cheesecloth wrap or finishing detail — or build around a backdrop with matching pieces made from the same fabric when you want a more cohesive gallery.

Most Amaia backdrops are part of a same-fabric collection, which means you can use the backdrop alone or add matching pieces such as wraps, rompers, hats, headbands and pillows.

Knitted outfits

Knitted rompers, bonnets and outfits designed to add softness, texture and character to newborn images.

Cheesecloth wraps

Lightweight cheesecloth wraps for layering, covering, soft folds, colour accents and gentle texture in newborn sessions. Choose one colour for a specific session, or bundles when you want more flexibility in your studio.

Many photographers love building around a backdrop. That is where Amaia backdrop collections are different.

For most of our backdrops, you can choose matching pieces made from the same fabric — not “almost matching”, not random colour guessing, but pieces created to belong to that specific backdrop collection.

This makes it easier to create a connected look across several frames while still choosing only the pieces you actually want to use.
